I was going to suggest that incentives could only be a certain percentage of the yearly salary or the total contract, but the net result would be every contract with that percentage incentives. Why bother? I voted only what they ask for.

Just easiest to police this by allowing only what the player requests. Otherwise it gets too complicated and can lead to additional problems on top of what we are already trying to circumvent.

That may be true in some instances but it is really the only solid way to stop abuse of the incentive system
