I dont have a problem with it being either way. I prefer it during the season to keep you involved

The reason I don't like it during the season is it breaks up the flow of the season. A good rookie draft is done over at least 2-3 sims in game. Ifyou stop the season for what would be a week, thats lost flow.
Having it after FA and before the season just gives you more stuff to be jazzed up about in the off season.

If you set up the OOTPX Online Utilities to use the draft tool, you can draft using the utilities out of game, and it doesn't hold up a thing. What happens is you would set the draft pool to be revealed at its max time, start the draft at that point, and draft on the utility until the draft day comes. You may get through 5 rounds, you may get through 10.
